FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE WORKSHOP

The fourth edition of the International Workshop “Tourism and Hospitality Management” (IWTHM2023) will be held on June 23, 2023, at ISAG – European Business School in partnership with the Consuelo Vieira da Costa Foundation’s Research Centre in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET-FCVC) and Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG).

The previous edition, the IWTHM2021, is indexed in Google Scholar, through the proceedings book and submitted for indexing in EBSCO and Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics). Thus, and taking into consideration the success of the last edition,  IWTHM2023 intends to continue the debate on the current and relevant themes in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

IWTHM2023 will enable both face-to-face and virtual participation in the Workshop. Participants are invited to submit papers in Portuguese, Spanish and/or English in two modalities: short paper/full paper and extended abstract. All papers and abstracts will be subject to a peer review process. Accepted papers presented at the Workshop will be published in the e-book, which will be made available to the participants of the event. Once the Workshop is over, the e-book will be sent to be indexed in Google Scholar, Proquest, EBSCO, SCOPUS (Elsevier) and Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics).

Papers/abstracts/extended abstracts presented at IWTHM2023 will also have the opportunity to be submitted for publication at Tourism Review, the pioneering journal dedicated to tourism issues that aims to advance the understanding of tourism and increase the impact and relevance of tourism research to society at large. The Tourism Review is indexed in databases such as Scopus and the Social Sciences Citation Index (Clarivate Analytics).

Articles/extended abstracts presented at IWTHM2023, will have also the opportunity to be selected for publication in a special issue of the European Journal of Applied Business and Management. EJABM is currently indexed in the international databases Google Scholar, ICI Copernicus Journals Master List, DRJI, Latindex and REDIB. If invited to publish in this scientific journal, authors are expected to change the paper by at least 50%, including a change of title and abstract. All journal rules and procedures must be followed and there is no guarantee of publication.
